Kanchrapara College follows the instructions given by the University of Kalyani regarding admission. 22% seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and 6% seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes and relaxation of qualifying marks to the extent of 25% from the marks secured by the last candidate admitted in the general category are permitted. For the OBC category, 17% of seats will be reserved in which OBC-A (10%) and OBC-B (7%) seats, will be reserved. 
 

 In the case of Honours courses, aggregate and the marks obtained in the subject are considered in which he/she intends to take up honours. In the case of general/pass courses, a merit list will be prepared on the basis of aggregate. 3% of the total number of seats in each subject shall be reserved for physically challenged candidates.
